Bud Michael Joins Decisionism as VP, Business Development.


BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 29, 1999--Decisionism Inc., the leader in OLAP (OnLine Analytical Processing) Decision support software that allows the user to quickly analyze information that has been summarized into multidimensional views and hierarchies. OLAP tools are used to perform trend analysis on sales and financial information.  data mart management software, has appointed Bud Michael to the newly created position of Vice President, Business Development. ). Michael will also establish new partnerships that leverage Decisionism's offerings and extend the company's market reach throughout the world. Michael reports to Gordon Rapkin, Decisionism President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. .

Michael brings 20 years of successful experience in high technology sales, marketing and general business management to his new position, including executive positions at Intel, Tandem Computers, and Sequent Computers, as well as at mid-sized software and services companies. Most recently, he was Vice President, Sales & Marketing, at Client Systems, LLC, a value added distributor of Hewlett-Packard mid-range systems and Oracle database and applications software. Michael brings to Decisionism more than six years of international business development experience.
