Halicki, a maverick filmmaker, stormed the cinematic world with his seminal action movie, the original "Gone in 60 Seconds," in 1974 making $40 million dollars worldwide. GONE was the 21st most profitable film that year. His blockbuster hit thrust Halicki into the filmmaking world head on. Toby wrote, produced directed, starred in and performed spectacular stunts in every one of his movies. His shoot from the hip, raw, gutsy edge gives the audience a rocket ride cinematic experience.

DVD producers Halicki and Leone have created a DVD that features a rare, unique 25 minute feature "The Making of The Junkman" hosted by Toby, the introduction to the film by Denice Halicki, filmed at the Guinness World Records Museum, the original trailers, new trailers, over 300 photographs, interviews with principle crew and cast members, such as George Barris, editor Warner E. Leighton and assistant editor P.J. Webb, stunt pilot Tony Ostermeier, Goodyear pilot and PR manager Nick Nicolary and Bob Urhausen, director of photography Tony Syslo. Audio commentary is by Tony Syslo and production manager, Jack Vacek. The VHS features trailers, introductions by Denice Halicki, a shortened version of "The Making of The Junkman" and the restored, re-mastered feature.
