Tourism is also important, and the San Marcos Golf Resort is in Chandler. & Co say some shops have been instructed by Glasgow City Council's licensing board not to stock the drink. Buckfast has a reputation as a drink for anti-social youths but an industry source said: "Chandler is fed-up getting the blame for society's ills." The Court of Session in Edinburgh will decide on a judicial review but a council spokesman said: "We will defend this action vigorously." |
