Buck Palace police swoop.


A CIVILIAN police worker is being investigated after an alleged security breach at Buckingham Palace Buckingham Palace (bŭk`ĭng-əm), residence of British sovereigns from 1837, in Westminster metropolitan borough, London, England, adjacent to St. James's Park. , sources said yesterday.

The man took a woman with a number of criminal convictions into the building in June without proper security checks, it is claimed.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "A male member of staff based within specialist operations is subject to an investigation by local management into allegations he failed to follow local security policy.

"The inquiries are ongoing and the member of staff has been moved from operational duties. He has not been suspended sus·pend
