Bryston Shows "D Series" Zone Amplifier Prototype at CEDIA.

PETERBOROUGH, Ontario -- Bryston has announced that it will be showing a prototype of the D-180Z zone amplifier technology currently in development. The Bryston "D-Series" will be lightweight, compact, reliable, and highly efficient zone amplifiers for whole-house audio applications. "Although the entire zone amp product category is separate from our audiophile amplifier designs, we are confident that the engineers at Bryston can execute the class D format at a very high level," reported James Tanner, VP of sales and marketing at Bryston. Current plans are in the works for three models of D-series amplifiers to serve the needs of installers building a variety of distributed audio configurations.
