Bryan Adams' `The Best Of Me' Greatest Hits Collection and DVD -- Premiere of His MTV Unplugged Concert Released to Coincide With Rocker's New Album.

Bryan Adams' first album in four years, featuring songs for DreamWorks' new animated film "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron," is expected this spring. At the same time, fans will get a chance to revisit previous hits from the enormously popular superstar with the digitally remastered DVD premiere of his "MTV Unplugged" and the U.S. debut of his most recent "best of" album. "Unplugged" and "The Best Of Me" will each be released on May 14, 2002, by A&M/UME.

"The Best Of Me" follows the Canadian's previous greatest hits collection, 1993's quintuple platinum "So Far So Good." Five of the 15 selections on "The Best Of Me" also appeared on that earlier album: the Top 15 "Summer Of `69" and Top 10 "Run To You" (both from 1984's "Reckless"), #2 gold "Can't Stop This Thing We Started" (from 1991's "Waking Up The Neighbours"), "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" (#1, triple platinum, Oscar- and Grammy-winner from 1991's "Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves") and a song which premiered on "So Far So Good," the Top 10 "Please Forgive Me." A new song, the title track, also made its debut on "The Best Of Me" when it was first released internationally in 1999.

In addition, heard on "The Best Of Me" are three selections from his most recent album, 1998's "On A Day Like Today": "Cloud #9," "When You're Gone" and "Inside Out." The other favorites included are "I'm Ready" (from 1983's "Cuts Like A Knife"), "Let's Make A Night To Remember" and "The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is..." (both from 1996's "18 `Til I Die"), "Back To You" (from 1997's "Unplugged") and the soundtrack songs "All For Love" (Top 10, platinum with Rod Stewart and Sting from 1993's "The Three Musketeers") and "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?" (#1 and Oscar-nominated from 1995's "Don Juan DeMarco").

"Unplugged" captures the once-in-a-lifetime acoustic concert by one of rock's greatest performers. This intimate live show, first released on VHS in 1998, features stripped-down versions of 15 songs, including the hits "Summer Of `69," "Cuts Like A Knife," "Heaven," "18 `Til I Die," "When You Love Someone" and "Back To You." There are also flashbacks to early songs such as "Fits Ya Good" and "If You Wanna Be Bad -- Ya Gotta Be Good," and two tracks that did not appear on the original 1997 CD release, "Can't Stop This Thing We Started/It Ain't A Party...If You Can't Come" and "Wanna Be Your Underwear."

Full-motion menu screens, instant song access, a main menu that randomly chooses one of three songs as background and a continuous play function give fans a new experience of this memorable show -- just as Bryan Adams brings long-awaited new songs to album, screen and stage.
