TWO weeks after the suavest pop singer in the world, Bryan Ferry, 56, announced his marriage had ended, he was pictured trotting around Europe with his 21year-old girl friend, Katie Turner.

Apart from the fact that she would have been one-year-old when Bryan originally married, you wonder what his four sons think of their dad's dalliance? Any twinge of envy other 50 plus men may have felt would have been quelled by not-sospry Bry's rather gaunt look and stooped back. Clearly, the 35-year difference in energy levels is already taking its toll.

I am having serious doubts about I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here. It's meant to be filmed in the Australian outback but the flora and fauna doesn't look anything like the back drop to ``Skippy The Bush Kangaroo.''

In fact, it's the kind of designer vegetation that a young set stylist might think would be particular to that region.

What do you bet it's all filmed on set at Pinewood Studios and the `hotel' that Uri Geller, Nigel Benn etc have escaped to is the Enfield Hilton?

A REN'T the Beckhams being extremely cowardly in naming their newborn son Romeo? Why not go the whole hog and have a full-blooded Shakespearean name such as Hotspur, Banquo or Falstaff? Or perhaps I'm on the wrong track. Maybe David was thinking about his favourite car and the little lad's first Christian name is Alfa.
