Brush Wellman appoints James P. Mooney to Board of Directors.CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 2, 1996--Brush Wellman Inc. (NYSE-BW) today announced the appointment of Mr. James P. Mooney to its Board of Directors. Mr. Mooney, age 48, is currently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OM Group, Inc. Prior to undertaking his current responsibilities, Mr. Mooney had served as President and Chief Executive Officer of OM Group, Inc. (1991-1994) and Chief Executive Officer of Mooney Chemicals, Inc., (1979-1991). He has been a member of the OM Group, Inc. Board of Directors since 1991. He joins the Brush Wellman Board of Directors as part of a class of Directors whose term ends in 1998.
