CHRIS Wood has been tipped to take Albion's Championship assault like "a man".

"Woodsy has been absolutely fantastic so far," Brunt said.

"He was chucked in at the deep end.

"He's shown in training what a physical presence he is for a 17-year-old. He's streets ahead of his age group - he's like a man.

"He showed that on the opening day of the season when he gave two Premier League centre-halves from last season a tough time and ran Coloccini all over the park.

"He's a nice kid as well and has got his head down working hard.

"I think he's got a bright future with West Brom."
