), the parent company of Brunswick Bank & Trust Company, announced today that it is continuing its Stock Buy Back Program.

Brunswick Bancorp's Buy Back Program is for odd lots of less than 100 shares. "Brunswick Bancorp has continued with this program over the years in an effort to facilitate the wishes of our shareholders, that is, to avoid incurring in·cur

high commission expenses while offering a convenient selling vehicle", remarked President Roman T. Gumina.

Under this program, Brunswick Bancorp is offering to buy all odd lot shares at a price of $15.00 per share, with no brokerage commissions or other charges. Brunswick's stock was trading at $12.00 per share as of December 31, 2001, and $12.20 per share on May 13, 2002.

Brunswick Bancorp anticipates enthusiastic participation in this program, which expires September 30, 2002, at 5:00 p.m.

Asked whether the program may be expanded beyond odd lots, "we will look into those options as well. We certainly are in a strong cash position to investigate such a plan. Noting that Brunswick Bancorp's stock is currently trading at nearly a 15% discount to book value, coupled with the fact that the Fed Fund Rate is at nearly 30 year lows, your question is very interesting indeed", replied President Gumina.

Brunswick Bancorp is traded on the American Stock Exchange American Stock Exchange (AMEX)
