Bruker BioSciences to Host Annual Investor Booth Tour at Pittcon 2007.

BILLERICA, Mass. -- Bruker BioSciences today announced its annual new product booth tour for institutional investors and analysts at Pittcon 2007 in Chicago, Illinois. Bruker BioSciences again expects to introduce numerous innovative systems and solutions for life science and materials research, as well as for applied and industrial analysis at Pittcon 2007.

For example, Bruker AXS will display its next-generation MICROSTAR[TM] ULTRA highest-brilliance laboratory X-ray source as well as its revolutionary, ultra-high performance EaXIOM[TM] X-ray detector for protein crystallography. The EaXIOM detects X-rays in real time, enabling true high-throughput screening as well as unique time-resolved experiments.

New at the Bruker booth will also be Bruker-Quantron's high-performance spark-OES instruments for metals analysis, and Bruker AXS' handheld XRF spectrometer with light-element capabilities for art and conservation analysis.

Bruker Daltonics will display numerous new products, including the autoflex III smartbeam[TM] system, a compact high-performance MALDI-TOF/TOF mass spectrometer. The new top-of-the-line ultraflex III smartbeam[TM] TOF/TOF combines various innovative features and further pushes the performance envelope for applications like LC-MALDI and MALDI molecular imaging, where scientists require the very highest sensitivity and speed.

Bruker Daltonics will also exhibit and introduce some exciting new products for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) detection.

Bruker Optics is expanding its product line in Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) spectroscopy and will launch several innovative spectrometers at Pittcon. Bruker Optics will also be displaying its pharma Process Analytical Technology (PAT) product line, along with dedicated analyzers for the growing biofuels, food and feed markets.
