Bruce P. Grimshaw, 72.


ROCHDALE Bruce P. Grimshaw, 72, of Rochdale, died on Thursday, November 12th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home after a long illness.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beverly (Johnson) Grimshaw of Rochdale. He also leaves a sister-in-law, Rhonda Johnson and a niece, Tara LaCoste, both of Leicester; a brother-in-law, Roy Johnson
    Roy Cleveland Johnson (February 23, 1903 - September 10, 1973) was a left fielder/right fielder in Major League Baseball who played for the Detroit Tigers (1929-32), Boston Red Sox (1932-35), New York Yankees (1936-37) and Boston Bees (1937-38).
     of CA and a cousin, Lissa Perrin of Ann Arbor, MI.

    Bruce was born in Worcester, son of the late Ralph and Gladys (Perrin) Grimshaw and is pre-deceased by a brother, Richard Grimshaw, who died in 2003.

    Mr. Grimshaw worked for over 25 years as a truck driver for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette. He was a past member of the Wachusett Old Car Club, an avid bowler and a top-notch golfer.

    Friends and family may gather at the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond Street, Worcester from 9 to 10 AM on Saturday, November 14th. A graveside grave·side

     service will follow at 10:30 AM at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church Wesley United Methodist Church is a common name. It can refer to several churches in the United States:
