Bruce Mosler named among city's top business leaders.


Cushman & Wakefield announced that Bruce Mosler has been named one of 2004's top 10 leaders and innovators in New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 business by the Executive Council of New York.

Mosler was among the distinguished recipients of this year's "New York Ten Awards" at an awards gala at Gotham Hall October 21. The Executive Council and the award winners opened the Nasdaq stock market Nasdaq stock market

The first electronic stock market listing over 5000 companies. The Nasdaq stock market comprises two separate markets, namely the Nasdaq National Market, which trades large, active securities and the Nasdaq Smallcap Market that trades emerging growth companies.

Mosler is one of the most accomplished real estate executives in the United States and one of the most sought after sources for the media on commercial real estate issues affecting New York and the nation.

In his new position, Mosler will be executive in charge of the global real estate services firm, which has 11,000 employees, and 173 offices in 48 countries.

As President of U.S. Operations since September 2000, Mosler has swiftly executed the initiatives he outlined upon his elevation: creatingnational leadership roles in Industrial, Multifamily and Retail, and growing those brokerage practices.

In particular, Mr. Mosler leveraged the firm's dominance in European retail real estate services, while creating a formidable U.S. retail platform. He also created the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance, which now numbers 15 firms nationwide, and Concordis Real Estate, the first and largest national minority and women-owned real estate services corporation and alliance.

He spearheaded the merger with Cushman Realty Corporation, and the acquisition of The Apartment Group and the firm's new hotel investment sales capability, which have increased the firm's national market share in multifamily brokerage and hotel investment sales. As a result of his bold and successful initiatives, in March 2002, Commercial Property News named Mr. Mosler as national "Property Services Executive of the Year."

One of Cushman & Wakefield's corporate values is "citizenship: commitment to the communities in which we live and work." Mosler, who has volunteered for many organizations, embodies this value.

In 2003, the Real Estate Board of New York presented him with its annual Kenneth R. Gerrety Humanitarian Award for his significant service to the community.

Boy Scouts of America - a corporation that operates through a national council that charters local councils all over the United States; the purpose is character building and citizenship training ; Inside Broadway; Intrepid Air & Space Museum; Salute to Freedom; Modell Foundation; New York Cares New York Cares was founded by a group of friends in 1987 who wanted to take action against social issues in New York City. Today, the organization engages 36,000 volunteers in service each year, helping 335,000 New Yorkers in need. ; Parker Jewish Hospital, and the United Way-NFL Partnership.

 and he is a member of the Board of the following organizations: Achilles Track Club The Achilles Track Club was established by Dick Traum in 1983 to encourage disabled people to participate in long-distance running with the general public. Achilles has become an international organization that provides support, training, and technical expertise to runners at all ; Bowery Residents Committee; Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation; Fuqua Business School; Duke University; Intrepid Board of Directors; Intrepid Museum; Modell Foundation, and the Real Estate Board of New York.
