Bruce David Eisen Inks Producer Deal With Trimark; Writer/Producer to Work in Genre Division.

Tourism and retailing are important, and the city has motion-picture, biotechnology, and software industries. , Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 11, 1998--Trimark Pictures has signed Bruce David Eisen as an in-house producer.

The announcement was made by Cami Winikoff, Trimark's chief administrative officer A chief administrative officer (CAO) is responsible for administrative management of private, public or governmental corporations. The CAO is one of the highest ranking members of an organization, managing daily operations and usually reporting directly to the chief executive  and executive vice president. "Bruce has played a key role in the success of many of Trimark's genre films throughout the years. He has been a valuable asset to Trimark. This move will only enhance Trimark's strengths within the genre arena," she said.

Added Mark Amin Mark Amin is an American motion picture producer and distributor.

Amin formed Vidmark Entertainment in the early 1980's which handled mainly video releases, and was a pioneer in home video entertainment. In 1985, Amin changed the name of Vidmark to Trimark Holdings Inc.

Formerly a business affairs and production exec at Trimark, Eisen recently wrapped production on "Warlock: The End of Innocence" for the company, the third installment of the highly successful "Warlock" series, which he co-wrote and produced. That film was directed by Eric Freiser, and stars Bruce Payne.

Earlier this year, Eisen produced "The Dentist II" with partners Pierre David and Noel Zanitsch. The film stars Corbin Bernsen and is directed by Brian Yuzna. That title premieres on HBO Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO)
A form of oxygen therapy in which the patient breathes oxygen in a pressurized chamber.

In the last two years, Eisen also co-produced "Trucks" and "Frozen," both of which were based upon short stories by Stephen King. "Trucks" premiered on the USA Cable Network, while "Frozen" is due for home video release in early July 1999.

Eisen's new position is in line with Trimark's refocus on the area where it has had its greatest success -- genre films. Currently, Eisen is involved in developing and producing "Leprechaun leprechaun (lĕp`rəkŏn), Irish fairy represented as a tiny old man. Leprechauns are mischievous and elusive creatures, said to possess buried crocks of gold, the location of which they will reveal if forced.  5" as well as writing another original screenplay for the company.

Asked about his production plans, Eisen said: "Seeing how well the market continues to respond to horror and other genre films, it's an exciting time to be in that business. I'm looking forward to producing films based upon my own material as well as that of outside writers."
