Brownstone Completes Maximum Private Placement.


TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 6, 1996--BROWNSTONE INVESTMENT (CANADIAN DEALING NETWORK Canadian Dealing Network (CDN)

The organized OTC market of Canada. Formerly known as the Canadian Over-the-Counter Automated Trading System (COATS), the CDN became a subsidiary of the Toronto Stock Exchange in 1991.

Its unusual color is caused in some instances by the presence of red iron oxide which acts as a cement, binding the sand grains together.  Investment Inc., (the "Company"), is pleased to announce that it has completed its maximum private placement of 1,000,000 units for aggregate proceeds of $1,710,000. The offering of the placement was originally announced by press release dated April 3, 1996.

530,000 of the units are comprised individually of one flow-through common share of the Company and one warrant (the "Warrant") to acquire an ordinary common share at $2.00 on or before April 30, 1998. 470,000 of the units are comprised individually of one ordinary common share and one Warrant. Gorinsen Capital Inc. acted as the Company's agent. Proceeds from the financing will be used for exploration expenses, possible property acquisitions and working capital.

Brownstone Investment Inc. holds interests in mineral and oil and gas properties. The common shares of the Company trade over the counter and trades are quoted by the Canadian Dealing Network under the symbol "BWNI".
