St. Peters will work primarily on news programming for Brownfield's on-air, online and e-mail products. He will also be responsible for the equine program "Hoofbeat," which airs weekly and is featured on the Brownfield Web site. St. Peters recently served as agribusiness director for Radio Bloomington Bloomington. 1 City (1990 pop. 51,972), seat of McLean co., central Ill.; inc. 1839. The economy is based on farming; electrical equipment is also manufactured. In 1856 the state Republican party was organized in Bloomington, at which time Lincoln delivered his famous "lost speech" (no copy of it is known to exist). The city is the seat of Illinois Wesleyan Univ.; Illinois State Univ. is in adjacent Normal (formerly North Bloomington)., where he was responsible for reporting agribusiness news stories for five radio stations in central Illinois, including Bloomington-based station WJBC. In addition, Brownfield adds Lane McConnell as promotions coordinator. In this newly created position, McConnell will handle promotion and public relations duties for Brownfield's on-air, online and e-mail products. She is a recent graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia where she majored in Agricultural Education, Leadership & Communications and minored in Agricultural Economics. |
