Russell's farm broadcasting career spans several decades. His radio and television experience began at WRFD in Columbus, OH. Since then, he has been a voice for Hoosier agriculture at WOWO WOWO Wax-On-Wax-Off in Ft. Wayne, IN, and as the Indiana voice for Tribune Radio Networks. Russell most recently was the liaison for the state of Indiana's Department of Environmental Management. Also joining Brownfield is Peter Shinn as Farm Dir of Waitt Agribusiness agribusiness Agriculture operated by business; specifically, that part of a modern national economy devoted to the production, processing, and distribution of food and fibre products and byproducts. . Shinn's career in ag communications began at WOW AM-FM, Omaha, NE, where he was Agri-Service Die. He worked with Data Transmission.
