Brown in as VP for MAST Construction.

In a high-profile promotion, MAST Construction Services, Inc., a leading tri-state owner's representative, consulting and construction management firm, announced the promotion of Richard A. Brown to vice president. Previously, Brown served as project executive.

"Our firm is now fully flying at full staff, making it imperative for us to properly allocate our talent and focus on restructuring to better grow our core strengths and accommodate change," explained MAST president Ted Domuracki in making the announcement. "Rich has been an integral member of the MAST team for over four years now, originally joining the firm as a project manager and now utilizing his talents in a higher level management position, overseeing the Program Management practice group. His proven capabilities, on some of New Jersey's most high-profile construction projects to date, have earned him an esteemed place within our company."

In his new role, Brown will oversee two prominent projects--the New Jersey Devil's Hockey Arena in Newark for the Newark Downtown Core Redevelopment Corporation and the Red Bulls NY Soccer Stadium for the Harrison Redevelopment Agency--both of which MAST has been appointed owner's representative for. In addition to these two new assignments, he is in charge of the execution of the Master Plan for Hudson County Community College in Jersey City.

Brown, 42, has more than 22 years of experience in the construction industry, during which he has successfully managed several prestigious renovation and new construction projects.
