Brown and Caldwell names Craig Goehring chairman and CEO.


PLEASANT HILL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 24, 1995--Brown and Caldwell announced the appointment, effective today, of Craig A. Goehring as chairman and chief executive officer of the corporation.

Goehring, 41, executive vice president and operations director for the company since 1991, was elected to lead the company by Brown and Caldwell's board of directors at its scheduled quarterly meeting Friday, May 19.

Outgoing Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Steven A. Fisher, 47, who has served in these roles since 1991, said: "We have reshaped and redirected the company over the past five years to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing market. With the full support of the board, we have oriented the company for success by emphasizing recognized strengths. Craig Goehring's skills and experience put the company in the strongest position to capitalize on Cap´i`tal`ize on`

J. Lynn Hartford will continue as president of the corporation, with particular emphasis on the municipal sector of Brown and Caldwell's business. Hartford is also a member of the Board of Directors.

In its statement the board said: "In planning for the company's future, Steve Fisher Steve Fisher (born March 24, 1945 in Herrin, Illinois, U.S.) is a basketball coach currently at San Diego State University.

Fisher attended Illinois State University, where he helped lead the Redbirds to the 1969 Division II Final Four.
