Brown Jordan International Appoints Jeff Charlson President Mass Market Division.

Brown Jordan International, Inc. ("BJI"), the premier designer, manufacturer and marketer of fine casual and contract furniture, announced today the appointment of Jeff Charlson as President Mass Market Division, reporting directly to Bruce R. Albertson, BJI President and CEO.

Charlson brings extensive experience to BJI within the mass market channels through his experience at General Electric and Maytag Corporation. Most recently, Charlson served as the GE Appliance Category Manager, responsible for growing the entire line of products at Wal-Mart, resulting in 50% sales growth during 2001. Charlson also held various other management positions, where he led extensive development in the appliance business and achieved GE's Six Sigma Blackbelt status. Prior to GE, Charlson served as the District Manager for the South Central Region at Maytag Corporation. He earned his BBA in Marketing at the University of Northern Iowa and an MBA from Lamar University.
