Brown Jordan International Announces Reorganization.


POMPANO BEACH Pompano Beach (pŏm`pənō), city (1990 pop. 72,411), Broward co., SE Fla., on the Atlantic coast and the Intracoastal Waterway; inc. 1908. Jim Pepping has been named Chairman Contract Division with Dave Biancofiore reporting to Pepping as the President Contract Division. Jerry Shilling has been named President of Wabash Valley The Wabash Valley is a region with parts in both Illinois and Indiana. It is named for the Wabash River and spans the middle to the middle-lower portion of the river and is centered at Terre Haute, Indiana. The term Wabash Valley is frequently used in local media. . Each of these individuals will report directly to James R. Malone, Vice Chairman, President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of BJI. Functions such as operations, product development, purchasing, marketing and sales will now fall under each business unit under these individuals' leadership. Finance, IT and HR will remain as shared, corporate functions.

Malone commented, "Over the past few months, we have been reevaluating the effectiveness of our business structure to ensure we are serving our customers to the best of our ability. The outcome is going to be a less centralized organization with less corporate structure, in which each business unit has financial and customer service accountability. I feel strongly that these changes will greatly improve the Company's efficiency and profitability, therefore benefiting our customers, suppliers and investors."
