Brown Harris co-chair appointed to Israel Bonds board of directors.


Kent M. Swig, owner and co-chairman of Brown Harris Stevens and principal of Swig Burris Equities, has been named to State of Israel Bonds' National Board of Directors.

In announcing the appointment, Board chairman Burton P. Resnick of Jack Resnick & Sons cited Swig's "outstanding leadership and service" in Israel Bonds' Real Estate and Construction Division.

"As the Division's campaign chairman from 1997 to 2002, Kent headed drives totaling a record $175 million in bond sales," Resnick said. "When Kent was honored hon·or

Swig, now the Division's vice chairman, was inspired by the pioneering efforts of his grandfather, the late Benjamin H. Swig, and Ben's lifelong business partner Jack D. Weiler.
