Bishop Donald E. Pelotte of Gallup, N.M., left, ordained his twin brother, Dana F. Pelotte, a Blessed Sacrament priest Sept. 4 at their childhood parish in Waterville, Maine Waterville is a city in Kennebec County, Maine in the United States on the west bank of the Kennebec River. The ordination of one twin by another was a historic first for the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament The Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament is an enclosed Roman Catholic religious order for men and women and a reform of the Dominican Order devoted to the perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. . Bishop Pelotte, who was appointed coadjutor bishop of Gallup in 1986 and became head of the diocese in 1990, was ordained a priest in 1972. His brother professed his vows as a religious brother in 1976.
