Brooks Sports Chosen as 2001 Apparel Vendor of the Year.

BOTHELL, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 23, 2001

Brooks Sports, Inc. was chosen for the second year in a row as Apparel Vendor of the Year at the 2001 Fleet Feet National Franchise Conference in Asheville Asheville (ăsh`vəl, –vĭl), city (1990 pop. 61,607), seat of Buncombe co., W N.C., on the French Broad and Swannanoa rivers and on a plateau in the Blue Ridge Mts.; inc. 1797. , NC.

Fleet Feet's criterion for Apparel Vendor of the Year was based on product leadership, with support from customer service, on time execution and performance at retail. Brooks sales to Fleet Feet have increased over 39% in the apparel division and are up 49% in the footwear Footwear consists of garments worn on the feet.
