Trader Joe's will be located at 130 Court Street, at the intersection of Court Street and Atlantic Avenue, an area at the crossroads of Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill Boerum Hill and Downtown Brooklyn. The building was built in 1923 and, until now, has served as a bank building, first as headquarters for the Independence Community Bank and, most recently, as a branch of the Sovereign Bank. Sovereign Bank will be relocating across the street to 215 Atlantic Avenue. The owner of 130 Court Street is Two Trees Management.
