The mandate of the venture is to provide venture capital, primarily to emerging technology companies, for new telecommunication and technology-based products and service initiatives for real estate companies and their tenants. The venture will leverage both the operational expertise and real estate portfolio of Brookfield Properties and the venture capital experience of the other participants.
