Brook Hansen Motors Becomes Invensys Brook Crompton.

In 1993, Brook Crompton, tel:0148 442 2150, merged with Hansen Transmissions to become Brook Hansen, with a combined product range of electric motors, transmissions, and transmission elements. Since the merger, theIR motors business has developed significantly and Brook Crompton are now being managed separately from Hansen as a focused motors business within the Drives Systems Division of Invensys.

The Invensys name will become increasingly familiar in the global engineering market over the next few years and Brook Crompton and Parvex will also carry the Invensys brand, reflecting the global ambitions of both companies. However, they will also retain and develop their focus as suppliers of motors under their Brook Crompton and Parvex brands.
