Brokat and Micrologica Team for Web-to-Call Center Offering.


German software developers Micrologica AG and Brokat Brokat AG was a software company based in Stuttgart, Germany. Former names were BROKAT Informationssysteme GmbH and BROKAT Systems. It was founded and led by Stefan Roever.  Infosystems AG are minority shareholders in LexLinkLine AG, a company starting up this week to market web and voice integration technologies. One of the first products in LexLinkLine's portfolio is one called Internet Internet

Publicly accessible computer network connecting many smaller networks from around the world. It grew out of a U.S. Defense Department program called ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), established in 1969 with connections between computers at the
 Communication Center, which draws on Bargtheheide-based Micrologica's computer telephony integration Computer Telephony Integration - Computer Telephone Integration  skills and Stuttgart-based Brokat's electronic banking and commerce expertise to connect the internet with call centers.

Micrologica holds 37.5% of Dusseldorf-based LexLinkLine, while Brokat has 12.5%. The other 50% of the company is held by former Micrologica board member Andreas von Arnim, with a planned capital increase next year scheduled to take stakes to 40% for von Arnim, 40% for Micrologica, 10% for Brokat and the other 20% for other strategic partners, multimedia agencies and employees.

Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Stefan Roever Stefan Röver is an IT executive, currently in a CEO role at Navio. Before Navio, Röver was the CEO of Brokat, a German software company. Analysts and former employees of Brokat criticized Röver's lack of focus, which (they allege) ultimately led to the bankruptcy of Brokat.  said the basic idea behind LexLinkLine's formation is to develop and market customized products running on his company's Twister e-services platform.

The two shareholder companies said that they will provide both the hard and software for LexLinkLine, with Micrologica also handling the systems integration and service. Meanwhile the multimedia agencies will provide the internet content, with LexLinkLine itself acting the general contractor A general contractor is an organization or individual that contracts with another organization or individual (the owner) for the construction of a building, road or any other execution of work or facility. , serving as the clients' point of contact and carrying out staff training for the internet call center.
