X-AGENT(tm), an integrated telephone and web-enabled customer service and direct marketing solution, based on BROKAT's Twister(tm) e-services platform, links a call center to the Internet, offering a web-based connection between the service representative and the customer. The company also released the latest version of its Twister e-services platform, which enables financial institutions and other businesses to connect their disparate backend systems with various electronic distribution channels, including the Internet, call centers, mobile phone networks, smart cards, and web-enabled television. Twister 2.3 has been designed to support applications used for secure, electronic data transmission through various delivery channels, as well as for applications that provide for customer self-service and customer management.
