Broccoli Makes it Big.

Broccoli broccoli (brŏk`əlē) [Ital.,=sprouts], variety of cabbage grown for the edible immature flower panicles. It is the same variety (Brassica oleracea botrytis) as the cauliflower and is similarly cultivated.  is big in the packaged pasta-and-sauce and rice-and-sauce-mix aisle. Well, at least the word "broccoli" is big.

Pasta While the only basic difference between these names is the shape of the pasta, each pasta is typically matched with a particular sauce based on cooking time, consistency, ability to hold sauce, ease of eating, etc.  Roni adds only broccoli specks to this dish. True, the small print on the front says "Rigatoni rig·a·to·ni
n.
Pasta in ribbed, slightly curved, large-sized tubes.

[Italian, from rigato, past participle of rigare, to draw a line, from riga, line,
with White Cheddar Cheddar, village, Somerset, SW England. It is chiefly a tourist center. Limestone is quarried, and strawberries are grown. Nearby Cheddar Gorge towers c.400 ft (120 m) high, with imposing limestone cliffs and numerous caves from which relics of prehistoric man have  & Broccoli Sauce with other natural flavors." So why would the government allow the big print to say "White Cheddar & Broccoli with Rigatoni"?

Memo to shoppers: small print is usually more honest than large print.
