Broadway Real Estate Partners, LLC announced the appointment of Douglas Harper as its new managing director of Institutional Marketing. In this position, Harper will be responsible for managing all aspects of the firm's relationships with existing institutional clients and directing strategic outreach to new institutional investors.

Harper has 18 years of commercial real estate experience. He was previously a director in the Account Management Group of BlackRock Realty. During his tenure he assisted in the development of the firm's transaction and portfolio review infrastructure, conducted the firm's investment committee meetings, and had responsibility for investor strategy and services to clients throughout the U.S. Prior to his work with BlackRock, Mr. Harper was director of research at the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF). He has also held positions with Prudential Real Estate Investors and Price Waterhouse and completed consulting and valuation assignments for approximately $4 billion in real estate. Harper received a BA in economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Emory University.
