Broadview Networks Appoints Three Vice Presidents of Sales.

See CARP and proxy server. ) in the Northeast, today announced the appointment of three vice presidents of sales.

The three executives, all assuming newly created positions, are: Richard D. Rothman, 53, of Mount Laurel, N.J., vice president, sales - agent and affiliate channels; Louis A. Severine Jr., 38, of Huntington, N.Y., vice president, sales - data services; and David R. Thomas, 46, currently of Farmington Hills, Mich., vice president, sales - new market development.

Severine, appointed to head sales activities related to Broadview Networks' data services, also comes from Covad. As Covad's national account manager for AT&T, the 15-year sales and marketing veteran played a pivotal role in landing a three-year nationwide service contract with AT&T.

Thomas' assignment of overseeing new market development for Broadview Networks draws on his experience opening new markets for three national telecommunications companies. In his last position, as AT&T vice president for local services growth markets, based in Southfield, Mich., he directed a national team of nearly 1,000 sales and sales-support professionals. Before TCG merged into AT&T in 1998, Thomas was national vice president for the western region of TCG, helping that company become one of the country's largest integrated communications providers. Thomas, who majored in business administration at Wayne State University Wayne State University, at Detroit, Mich.; state supported; coeducational; established 1956 as a successor to Wayne Univ.
