Broadcom to Cooperate with Sony on the Development of Integrated Circuits for the Digital-TV Market.

), a leading supplier of highly-integrated silicon solutions for the broadband digital market, today announced plans to work with Sony Corporation to develop a range of IC products designed for use in consumer electronics products for the emerging digital-TV market.

Broadcom will develop a series of 8-16VSB/64-256QAM (1) (Quality Assessment Measurement) A system used to measure and analyze voice transmission.
