THESYS is a comprehensive, modular and scalable product suite that configures and coordinates individual system components into an integrated digital video network.

Using THESYS, broadcasters save time and protect their investment in high-performance digital video networks with an easy-to-use suite of tools that help monitor signal quality, maintain system "up" time and maximize network performance.

The THESYS family includes the following components: -0-

-- THESYS controller, a Windows NT-based PC element and network
management solution with an intuitive graphical user interface to
manage both DiviCom and selected third-party equipment,

-- SentinelTM, an advanced real-time monitoring system that combines
hardware and software to continuously test and measure the
compressed video signal within the subsystem transmission path,

-- Bandwidth Manager, a real-time application to optimize facilities
and services, including bandwidth allocation through statistical
     multiplexing,

-- Alarm Manager, a customizable fault management subsystem used to
identify and isolate problems and trigger backup switching, and

-- Remote Manager, a PC-based system for larger, distributed
networks used to offload the THESYS controller and provide some
management functions locally at remote sites.

The company selected Adherent adherent /ad·her·ent/ (-ent) sticking or holding fast, or having such qualities.  Systems Ltd. to provide the core technology for Sentinel because of its commitment to quality and proven track record in the development of test and measurement systems for compressed digital video.

"Our customers want an integrated, full-featured network management system to control their networks and insure maximum video quality to the end-user," said Drew Hutchinson, director of product marketing for DiviCom. "By providing these capabilities as part of a modular system, THESYS is the flexible solution they need."
