Broadbase Software, Inc., (NASDAQ:BBSW), the leading provider of intelligent customer interaction software, today announced its new seasoned, executive management team. With more than a century of combined technology experience, the 9-member executive team will further heighten Broadbase's leadership position in the eCRM marketplace.

The two newest members of the executive team are Massood Zarrabian, the former president and CEO of Servicesoft, and Gordon Rapkin, the former president and CEO of Decisionism. Zarrabian takes on the title of president of eService division and is also a member of the board of directors. Zarrabian brings with him a 27-year track record in R&D, marketing, operations and software services. Gordon Rapkin will serve as executive vice president of business-to-business markets for Broadbase and brings more than 20 years of software management experience to Broadbase.

Chuck Bay, Chief Executive Officer: Bringing over 15 years of extensive financial and operational expertise to Broadbase, Bay is a technology veteran, playing critical roles in organizations such as Pure Atria, which included a successful initial public offering (IPO), Spatial Technology and NeXT.

Massood Zarrabian, President, eService Division: Zarrabian brings a 27-year track record in R&D, marketing, operations and software services and most recently served as president and CEO of Servicesoft, where he guided the company through rapid growth in the emerging Internet Customer Service market. Zarrabian has also been instrumental in transforming other technology companies such as Lewtan Technologies and Cayenne Software.

Thomas Doyle, Chief Operating Officer: With over 24 years of industry experience, Doyle has held key management roles at companies such as Reasoning and Tandem.

Rusty Thomas, Executive Vice President and CFO: Thomas has spent more than 15 years addressing financial and operational issues at mainstay companies such as Rubbermaid and KPMG, where he most recently served as KPMG's industry leader for electronics and software segments.

David Milam, Executive Vice President, Marketing: Milam has 20 years of experience in the technology industry with an accomplished record in building high impact corporate, product, and channel marketing organizations in both the US and International markets. Before joining Broadbase, Milam served in general management and executive marketing positions at Cadence Design Systems, Structural Dynamics Research, Cimlinc Corporation, and Sperry Corporation.

Brian Kelly, Executive Vice President, Product Strategy: Kelly encompasses over 10 years of technology experience at companies such as PeopleSoft, Intrepid, Kelly Information Systems and Teradata.

Chris Maeda, Executive Vice President, Product Strategy: Maeda has been instrumental in the development of software and technology for over 10 years at companies such as Rubric and Xerox Parc.

Gordon Rapkin, Executive Vice President, Business-to-Business Market: Rapkin's background encapsulates more than 20 years of software management experience, most recently serving as president and CEO of Decisionism. Before joining Decisionism, he was Vice President of the $120- million Enterprise Business Group at Hyperion Software, Inc. and prior to that, Rapkin founded Advanced Management Strategies, an early pioneer in the personal computer software industry.

Fabio Angelillis, Executive Vice President, Engineering: For the past 16 years, Angelillis was responsible for designing and engineering software at several high technology companies, including Cadence Design Systems, Teradyne and Hewlett-Packard.
