Broadbase Adds Analytic Apps.


Broadbase Information Systems Inc is offering a 3.0 version of its EPM EPM

The two companies are integrating their respective programs which will enable Broadvision users to load relationship management data from the One-to-One applications into a Broadbase data mart and analyze it using EPM/E-business.

Broadbase's new applications - plus the existing sales, marketing and customer service modules - apply a different package of analysis metrics to data loaded into EPM/Foundation, the data mart which Broadbase introduced back in 1997. EPM/E-business The company claims that it delivers analysis into the hands of end- users rather than the IT department. Broadbase has said that what Siebel Systems and Broadvision do for OLTP (OnLine Transaction Processing) See transaction processing and OLCP.

It runs on relational databases. Application modules start at $150,000 each, including EPM/Foundation.
