Broadband Maritime and Sumitomo Announce Distribution Partnership for New Generation Global Shipboard Communications System.

NEW YORK -- Broadband Maritime Corporation ("Broadband") and Sumitomo Corporation ("Sumitomo") announced today the signing of an exclusive agreement for the distribution of Broadband's shipboard communications system to the Japanese market.

Under the agreement, Sumitomo will represent Broadband in Japan and to select worldwide customers in the distribution of its global, dedicated VSAT communications system.
