"Recent court filings in Oklahoma City have left many wondering about AARO's involvement in investigations currently being conducted by the Oklahoma Department of Securities and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

"I can say without a doubt that AARO is not the subject of any ongoing investigations, nor are we the company named in lawsuits filed by Oklahoma and federal regulators last week. Those lawsuits were filed against entities that were once involved in a joint venture with our private company.

"AARO confirmed in late May that certain corporate executives were cooperating with state and federal agencies in their investigations of our former business partners. Our involvement in this matter stops there.

"As I did in May, I want to again reassure AARO shareholders that the ongoing state and federal probe into the business dealings of our former joint venture partners will in no way impact AARO's ability to execute our business plan. We still intend to bring wireless Internet connectivity to the central and western U.S. by the end of 2001.
