At the Wireless Agenda 2000 trade show today, Mobilize, Inc. announced its selection as the mobility partner for Jato Communications.

Mobilize will provide an end-to-end solution that extends mission-critical corporate information and applications to Jato's field-based sales force in markets throughout the United States. The Mobilize solution also includes mobility-specific applications that "snap in" to the technology platform, and let mobile workers easily access and work with up-to-the-minute information.

Jato will deploy Mobilize's Mobile Access Portal(TM) (MAP) technology platform along with mobility-specific applications to its national sales force that will number of 350 mobile workers by year end. MAP provides a two-way bridge between corporate information systems that interfaces with a broad array of mobile devices and fits seamlessly with existing IS/IT infrastructure. The MAP architecture requires minimal IS/IT involvement to deploy, and can be installed in 30 to 60 days.

The mobility applications, called mapplets(TM) that Mobilize will provide Jato include:

        force delivers always current, always accurate messages.

      --  Literature Distributor that catalogs all relevant sales
        literature, product information, and presentations in an easy
        to search database, and lets mobile workers e-mail, fax, or
        request print-on-demand literature fulfillment.

      --  Online Meeting Manager that mobile professionals use along
        with Presentation Manager to make live presentations over the
        Web to overcome geographic barriers, save time, and reduce
        costs. Jato Communications will also use Online Meeting
        Manager to conduct remote training and self-study training
        courses.
