Broadband Access Systems and AT&T Executives to Speak at Fall '99 Voice on the Net.

Broadband Access Systems, the industry's only company exclusively focused on providing cable access solutions for the deployment of value-added data and voice services, will be featured during this week's Fall '99 Voice on the Net (VON) Conference. Mark Komanecky, vice president of marketing for Broadband Access Systems, will be joined by an AT&T executive to speak about issues surrounding deployment of IP telephony services over cable networks.

In a session titled, "Assembling the Cable Telephony Solution," Komanecky will share the podium with Jim Yatsko, Division Manager of Cable Telephony Network Planning for AT&T. Together, in their presentation titled "IP Telephony Services Over HFC Networks", they will discuss network reliability and availability requirements and issues involved with deploying IP telephony services over hybrid fiber coax (HFC) networks. The session will take place on September 29 at 6:00P.M. in Hall "C" at the Cobb Galleria.
