Acting on its commitment to deliver enterprise-ready solutions to the Windows marketplace, BroadVision, Inc. (NASDAQ: BVSN) today announced a strategic relationship with Compaq Computer Corp. (NYSE: CPQ) for the development and marketing of solutions built on BroadVision's suite of e-business applications and Compaq's ProLiant(TM) servers.

Underscoring the strategic nature of the relationship, both companies are committing engineering, marketing, and professional services resources focused on benchmarking and technology optimization, joint go-to-market programs, and expanded field engagement. BroadVision has also named Compaq's ProLiant(TM) server as its Preferred Windows Platform and Compaq Global Services as its Preferred Windows Infrastructure Services Provider. As a result, customers can expect easy-to-deploy, highly-scalable, reliable e-business solutions at a lower cost than comparable UNIX-based solutions.
