BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq:BVSN BVSN Broadvision, Inc. (stock abbreviation, AMEX) ), a leader in personalized e-business applications, has reached a software engineering milestone, delivering its one-hundredth sequential, on-time software release. On December 8, 2000 the company released BroadVision(R) MarketMaker(TM) version 5.5.1 for the Sun Solaris(TM) Operating Environment In computing, an operating environment is the environment in which users run programs, whether in a command line interface, such as in MS-DOS or the Unix shell, or in a graphical user interface, such as in the Macintosh operating system.  and Hewlett-Packard HP-UX HP's version of Unix that runs on its 9000 family. It is based on SVID and incorporates features from BSD Unix along with several HP innovations.

On the same day, BroadVision also released version released version - release  5.5.0 of BroadVision InfoExchange Portal(TM) for the Windows 2000 operating system.

The first BroadVision product, BroadVision One-To-One Enterprise(R) version 1.0, was released in December of 1995. Since that time, BroadVision has delivered nine versions of BroadVision One-To-One Enterprise for a variety of Unix and Windows NT platforms, as well as multiple versions of the products that comprise BroadVision's e-business application suite, such as BroadVision InfoExchange Portal, BroadVision Business Commerce(TM) and BroadVision Retail Commerce(TM).
