Previously, these items were published and shipped manually -- a process that cost ATS thousands of dollars with every change in procedures, governmental shipping regulations or contractual agreements.

ATS is not the only party reaping benefits from the new web site implementation. Carriers, agents, and customers benefit tremendously from the site's ability to provide logistics information via the Internet in real time. The more than 15,000 independent carrier partners who have already signed up with ATS can now log onto the site to view available loads within the United States. BroadVision's personalization technology is used on the site to tailor content for each brokerage agent based on a unique logon ID, and the agents have instant access to post their available loads and view load status. Additionally, potential customers can log onto the site to get rate quotes for shipping.
