BroadVision Announces the Appointment of Peter Stanley to Lead UK and Benelux Operations.

BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq:BVSN), the leading provider of enterprise business portal applications, today announced the appointment of Peter Stanley as vice president of UK and Benelux Operations reporting to Arthur Vonchek, senior vice president and general manager of EMEA, BroadVision. In his new role, Stanley will be responsible for directing BroadVision's sales, marketing and field operations in the United Kingdom and Benelux.

Stanley has extensive experience in the enterprise software industry. Prior to joining BroadVision, Stanley was vice president of European sales for Divine, a U.S. based provider of extended enterprise solutions. From 1996 to 2001, he was vice president of international sales (and employee number two) for Open Market, an e-business applications provider acquired by Divine in 2001. During his tenure at Open Market, Stanley sold the company's first license in 1996, drove the European business to 245 percent growth from Q1 1999 to Q1 2000, built a successful UK team and established a reseller network in Israel and the Republic of South Africa. Prior to joining Open Market, Stanley held key sales management positions with 3Com and Ericsson.
