BroadSoft Named Market Leader In VoIP Application Server Market by Independent Research Firm; Telecom Analyst Firm Cites Depth of Customer Base, Top-Tier Service Provider Engagements, and Technology Innovation for Market Leadership Claim.

The company recently added Hanaro and Korea Telecom KT (formerly, Korea Telecom, Korean: 한국통신, NYSE: KT) is South Korea's top integrated wired/wireless telecommunication service provider. The reports cite the integration of multiple functions into a single platform as a chief advantage of BroadWorks over competitive offerings. The company has also increased its client-side capabilities in the past 12 months with the acquisition of application developer Carbon Twelve and introduced the BroadWorks Communicator; a Windows-based softphone. BroadSoft also was the first company to provide a commercially available IMS-compliant VoIP application server in early 2005.
