industry analyst firm In-Stat, adding VoIP services is one of the top competitive considerations for WISPs to offer. It is a requirement to attract new subscribers and differentiate in the face of growing competitive threats, decreased margins, and increased acquisition and operational costs.

With this competitive imperative in mind, a growing number of fixed wireless service providers are using the BroadSoft(R) BroadWorks platform to rapidly add VoIP to their service portfolio and deliver these differentiated, revenue-generating offerings. The new deployments are generated in part through BroadSoft's large VoIP wholesale service provider channel, which features market leaders CommPartners and Ecuity Advanced Communications.

"With its growing presence in the wireless industry, BroadSoft is proving how rapidly and effectively VoIP and IP multimedia applications can enhance competitive positioning, escalate broadband revenue models and deliver the kind of feature abundance that assures customer loyalty."
