BroadQuest Promotes Wendy McCaw to Vice President of Services; Former Novell Executive to Lead Business Services.


SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 1999--

BroadQuest, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise portal applications, today announced the promotion of Wendy McCaw to vice president of services.

In this new role, McCaw will be responsible for all technology transfer, software consulting, and support services for BroadQuest products internationally. In her previous position as Director of Engineering Services, McCaw successfully deployed BroadQuest 1.0 and 2.0 at global 2000 customers.

BroadQuest Services' primary goal will be to enable global systems integrators, such as Andersen Consulting, Arthur Anderson and Cambridge Technology Partners, to deploy BroadQuest's Customer Information Portal application to thousands of customers, partners, and employees. Wendy McCaw is a seasoned software industry executive with a long track record of product and customer success at Novell.

McCaw brings experience with Internet product development, project management and third party development to BroadQuest. Prior to BroadQuest, McCaw was the Engineering Director of Novell's Internet Product Division, and was responsible for managing a 120-person technical staff.

As Engineering Director, she focused on Internet product development, productization of Novell's Network Management, Host Connectivity and Router products, including project management, QA, third party developer support and technical documentation for customers and systems integrators.
