, today announced the appointment of Del D.H. Allison as vice president of worldwide sales responsible for developing a technology partnership channel, generating design wins and building out the sales team.

Prior to BroadLogic, Allison held senior executive sales positions at a number of small and large semiconductor companies. Most recently he was vice president, worldwide sales at TranSwitch Corporation, a developer of silicon and software solutions for converging video, voice and data. At TranSwitch, he rebuilt the sales team into an effective global organization, resulting in revenue growth of 150% in less than three years while significantly improving gross margins.

Prior to TranSwitch, Allison was senior director of sales at Agere Systems Agere Systems Inc. was an integrated circuit components company based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania, in the United States.
