With the hiring of Mealy and McNamara, the Brix executive staff is now complete. Mealy has more than 23 years of experience in sales management, operations, service, and business development in the data communications industry. He joins Brix following a five-year tenure at UUNET, an MCI (1) (Media Control Interface) A high-level programming interface from Microsoft and IBM for controlling multimedia devices. It provides commands and functions to open, play and close the device.

Most recently, Mealy was UUNET's director of hosting services where he contributed to more than doubling revenue in 1999, and grew the sales and support teams by 50 percent in one year. Previously, Mealy served in diverse sales management, marketing, and operations roles at Infonet Services Corp., US Sprint, and Computer Science Corporation.

McNamara has 22 years of manufacturing engineering experience in the networking industry. Prior to joining Brix, he was vice president of operations for RSA Security (Security Dynamics). While there, McNamara built a high-volume manufacturing operation that supported that company's revenue growth from $30 million to $200 million in a three-year-period. Previously, he held manufacturing positions of increasing responsibility at Chipcom/3Com, Codex/Motorola, Raytheon, and GTE GTE General Telephone & Electronics
