Brix Networks' President and CEO Elected to Board of Directors of Massachusetts Telecommunications Council; Tom Pincince Joins Governing Body of Industry Trade Organization.

By providing advocacy to the state and federal government, education about key technical and business trends, and visibility with customers, partners, and investors, the MTC fosters entrepreneurship and growth in the telecom sector in Massachusetts.

Prior to founding Brix in 1999, Pincince, a veteran of the telecommunications and data networking industries, was the founder of New Oak Communications, a pioneering leader in extranet Virtual Private Network (VPN) switches. Previously, he was director of Forrester Research's Network Strategy Service. Pincince was one of the first high-tech analysts to subsequently leave an industry research and consulting firm to start his own company. Earlier in his career, Pincince held marketing and engineering positions of increasing responsibility at several Boston-area companies.

He holds a ScB. with Honors from Brown University, and was a finalist for Ernst & Young's 2003 New England Entrepreneur Of The Year Award.
